Lee County’s Neighborhood Stabilization Program is for families whose income is 120% of the area’s median income. This means a family of four can earn up to $70,320 per year and qualify for assistance under the NSP.
What is NSP?
Lee County buys foreclosed homes in targeted areas at prices below appraised value. Professional contractors rehabilitate the property to specific standards. This program is not a revenue generating program. It’s goal is to assist the home buyer to achieve homeownership. Lee County may provide a silent second mortgage and closing cost assistance to help subsidize the buyer’s costs.
NSP is for the owner-occupant, not for use as a second home or an investment property.
